Our students have been making a fantastic difference in the local community through their volunteering work as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme!
Students have continued litter picking across the college site, Ham Hill, Ninesprings, and Westlands Leisure Centre. Back at college, they carefully sort and record the litter collected to support the Council for the Preservation of Rural England (CPRE) Somerset’s ‘Land to Sea’ project, helping to prevent waste from reaching our rivers and seas.
We were also proud to receive an infographic from CPRE Somerset showing the positive environmental impact our students have already made!
