"My daughter attended the school Leanne was the head teacher of.
Before my daughter attended, she really struggled with interacting & struggle to speak how she felt. She took a shine to art & from there she shined in a way we had never seen before? She always struggled with sticking at things due to her ASD & ADHD she always doubted herself Leanne & Vicky seen something amazing they & put a lot of commitment & endless effort into her art work to make sure she never quit! Vicky had entered Billie into competition where she come first place in. Her confidence grew in art because Vicky treated it as a relaxing calming strategy also! The time and effort were endless & it come with love and care. Billie has now gone onto college and is doing art & design in college. i couldn’t have been happier with how Leanne & Vicky guided Billie into the path she is in now."

"Good Day
I wanted to give you and the school some feedback, When my Grandson Tyrhys was allocated a place at Cambian, I had never heard of the school , I was rather dubious at first , But within a short time I saw how being at Cambian had helped Tye he had been excluded from main stream , due to behaviour, Within a few weeks Leanne had worked out the Tye had ADHD, we managed to get him Diagnosed, Tye spent just over two years at Cambian, he was always happy to go into school , His favourite teacher was Leanne and Alex.
I now have two more children in attendance at Cambian ,Iveon and his sister Rnaya, Both children are doing well , Vicki was Iveon ,s TA in his first year at Cambian, she has done some amazing work with Iveon , Rnaya has been at Cambian for a year after spending her year 7 in mainstream, When she First started at Cambian ,she had no confidence her metal heath was bad , But now she is a different girl, she is happy going into school every day .
I recommend Cambian to a lot of parents that have children with EHCP, All the staff at Cambian are fantastic, Leanna Vicki and Denise stand out for me, they care about All the children at the school, keep doing what you do."
Kind Regards Linda Gardner
"I am incredibly grateful for the support my son received during his time at Cambian, which played a vital role in helping him successfully transition back into mainstream education. The staff took the time to truly understand him as an individual, showing patience, listening to him, and recognising when he felt overwhelmed, using strategies such as music therapy to help him regulate his emotions. He also greatly benefited from the therapeutic opportunities provided, including animal therapy and Reiki, which supported his emotional well-being and confidence.
The school encouraged positive behaviour through a reward system where he could earn a spending allowance, helping him develop an understanding of saving and managing money. They recognised his strengths and interests, particularly in sport, and supported him in being selected for a sports leadership programme, which further boosted his confidence and sense of achievement. (He had the confidence to choose the sports BTEC as an option in his mainstream school)
Opportunities such as outdoor pursuits, including abseiling, canoeing, aerial trekking and paddleboarding, gave him experiences that built resilience, independence and self-belief.
The staff consistently acknowledged his progress, praising him and sharing their pride in his achievements with both him and me, which meant a great deal. They also identified his hypermobility and recommended appropriate support to help manage this. The combination of therapeutic support, encouragement, and tailored opportunities created a nurturing environment where he was able to grow both emotionally and academically.
I also really valued the way the school supported him in learning important life skills such as cooking, doing laundry, and ironing. These are skills that have truly helped shape his independence and confidence. Seeing him take pride in being able to do these things for himself has been incredibly rewarding and has played a big part in preparing him for the next stage of his journey. (He has also chosen hospitality and catering as an option now, too)
One of the most noticeable changes has been in his social confidence. With the support of the school, he has learned how to build and maintain friendships and navigate social situations more appropriately. It has been amazing to see this growth, as he now has friendships outside of school and is able to attend cadets, something that once would have felt overwhelming for him.
I truly believe that without the dedication and care of the staff, his successful transition into mainstream school would not have been possible."
Kind Regards, Jade.
"As Seth’s parents, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the support and positive environment your school has provided since he joined shortly before the summer holidays.
Over the past two years, Seth has faced significant challenges attending school, largely due to his ADD diagnosis and a lack of understanding around his specific needs. However, since becoming part of your school community, we’ve seen a remarkable transformation.
Seth has developed a strong sense of independence—he now gets up and prepares for school each day on his own, something that was previously a major struggle. This change alone speaks volumes about how well he has adapted and how supported he feels.
More importantly, he has regained a positive attitude toward education and life in general. He comes home each day excited to share his experiences and regularly speaks highly of the teachers who have guided and encouraged him. He says,he feels like he fits in for once.
We truly believe the dedication and care shown by your staff have made a lasting impact, and we cannot thank you enough. It’s clear that the team is a credit to the school, and we only wish we had discovered your school sooner—it might have made all the difference even earlier in Seth’s journey."

"C had an absolutely brilliant first day at Cambian. She actually came out smiling at the end of the day! (which I haven't seen her do in many years). She spent at least 2 hours talking about what she did and how lovely all the staff were. I swear I nearly cried when she said to me "mum I think I'll be ok at my new school, i really like it".
It's so comforting to know I'm not going to have the battles or the tears in the morning or night before that I used to have. This has completely turned our lives around. Thank you so much to everyone."

"Thank you for my time at Cambian Northampton School! I have really enjoyed all the memories I have made and I would like to thank everyone for helping me to get to where I am today. The thing I liked about being in the school was that we were always pushed to do our best and that the teaching assisstants were always there if you needed them.
I enjoyed going on trips with the other children and going to the safari park, it helped us all become better friends. I’m now studying at a military training college which will prepare me to be part of the Army, where I hope to become a medic. I have had multiple choices of careers but this is the one I've set my heart on. Thank you again to the school for my helping me get the results I did; without them, I wouldn't have been able to follow my dream career!"
