This has been created by the students and supported by Chris Rainbow and Tammy Hawkins who work at Whinfell Kendal Green.

As you can see from the pictures below, the Community Library Box came from quite humble beginnings.

The aim of the Community Library Box is to provide passers by, who live and play in the area around the school with free literature that they can enjoy. Those using the Community Library Box can either take a book and keep it, return the books for others, donate books or swap books that they have for ones that they may not have read yet. This can also be accessed by those entering or leaving the school, meaning that students, parents and school staff can enjoy the Library Box too.

A massive 'Thank You' to Ben, for all of his hard work and dedication in starting up the Community Library Box. We hope this is used by all in the community and that everyone joins in to make it a success.
