We’ve had a week of ‘First’s’ at the stables.
JC rode a horse for the first time on Wednesday, and thoroughly enjoyed himself. He is now working towards his AQA’s – Horse Riding & Basic Horse Care, we are very proud of him.
A BIG thank you to Erin for her encouragement and support. JC is also now starting his Stables Horse Riding awards.
JC has previously completed, and been awarded his AQA Preparing to Ride a Horse, so it is lovely to see him smiling and laughing now he is riding.
R & JR rode on their own in the grounds on Wednesday, the first time they trotted properly off lead rein outside, and were both amazing. They have both completed their AQA for Horse Riding, and can now move on to Riding a Horse, which is a little more advanced. They have both recently completed their Stage 6 Riding and Stage 2 Field and Yard Management awards. Again we are very proud of them both.

It’s lovely that we can attribute the work we do with the students to a certificate and award that will stay with them through their education life.
