Christmas Carol Service and Christmas Fayre

15.12.2023

At Grateley House School we finished the Autumn term with a Carol Service held at St Leonards Church in the local village. Students, their families and staff attended.

Reverend Phili led the service and brought to life the nativity story using her beautifully handmade figures.

We were very proud of the students who formed part of the choir and did readings in front of the congregation.

After the Carol Servicer we welcomed everyone back to school to peruse the Christmas Fayre and enjoy a hot chocolate and mince pie. An opportunity for everyone to mingle.

The students had worked very hard preparing a fine array of creative crafts for the Christmas Fayre. These included gingerbread houses, cookies, fudge, mini wooden reindeer, coasters, brilliant tree decorations and ceramic work to name a few! There was so much to choose from and it all looked very impressive.

We raised £190 from the Christmas Fayre that will be donated our sister school in Tanzania – This is a fantastic amount.
