Purple Class visited Witton Country Park for an exciting afternoon of community access and environmental volunteering.
The students actively engaged with their local area by teaming up with the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council to help litter-picking.
During the visit, the class explored the park's vibrant green spaces while learning about keeping the environment clean and tidy.
Equipped with litter grabbers, the students worked enthusiastically to collect waste, helping to keep the community space clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone.
This hands-on experience allowed Purple Class to develop valuable life skills, practice teamwork, and make a positive, visible impact on their local environment.
