Children at Meeko House are over the moon after receiving a very special delivery today, a Grand Piano from none other than; 'The Only Way is Essex' Television Personality Gemma Collins!
This all transpired when Sharon, Meeko House's Head of Hospitality was scrolling through Instagram on a well earned day off and saw Gemma's Instagram competition. To enter the competition Sharon had to provide a brief synopsis of what we do and the ages of our children. Shortly after submitting the entry, Gemma's agent responded to thank her for entering and to let her know that they had been inundated with applications.
So as you can imagine she was absolutely thrilled to find out yesterday that Gemma had picked Meeko House to win this fantastic prize. As you can see the piano has just as much character as Gemma herself!
The piano was delivered today and everyone is thrilled to have received this, it is a welcome addition to the home which we are sure will be enjoyed for many years.
Our stylish new addition has been so popular that our students at Home Tree School no longer want to play music on their standard school piano, they only wish to play on our new glam one.
We are delighted to have been picked by Gemma as the winner of this fantastic prize and we would like to thank her on behalf of everyone at the home. Thank you also to Sharon for still thinking about work on her day off, and for taking the time to enter…. As they say you’ve got to be in it to win it!
