Pengwern College Sensory Art and Art and Pottery students are kickstarting the new term with an incredible, eco-friendly twist!
They’ve also been busy exploring the bold geometric shapes of the Cubism Art movement and using it as inspiration to transform everyday recycled rubbish, clay, and glass into unique, mixed-media statement jewellery. This project is all about exploring new textures, getting creative with different mediums, and learning how to look at ordinary materials in a whole new way.
They are doing this in preparation for an end-of-term fashion show called “Garbage Glam”! Our students will be styling, hosting, and modelling their own sustainable creations in the show. We can’t wait to see them rocking the runway!
