This week our 1st year Music students have been learning our “hello” song!
They have also been enjoying learning all about African Drumming with Djembe Drums! Students have been performing together as a group and individually, listening for start and stop cues, performing “call and response” rhythms and playing specifically learned rhythms whilst singing the “Tiny Tim” nursery rhyme at the same time!
What a fantastic way to use both sides of our brains whilst simultaneously learning new Music skills!
