What a fantastic start to the new term! Our amazing pottery students are diving into their current project: mastering the technical art of slip casting to cast a pot. To fuel their imaginations, they’ve been exploring Art history through the bold, geometric world of Cubism. They are already making brilliant progress, transforming their own cubist drawings into experimental clay pieces to see how shapes fit together. Over the coming weeks, they'll be combining these two worlds—using their newfound knowledge and incredible creativity to design and cast a final pot with unique cubist features. We can't wait to see how their skills and confidence grow as this project comes to life!
