Thursday afternoon is 'Social Café' time at The New Elizabethan School and what a great occasion it is!
This project is run by our wonderful sixth form students, with the aim to improve social interaction skills throughout the school.
Sixth form plan and manage the café for everyone at the school, handling money from the sale of cakes and snacks and overseeing the general running of the afternoon.
Pupils and staff are invited to come along and enjoy a drink and a treat and get the opportunity to practise their communication skills. This time also provides students from different year groups with the opportunity to meet and speak to one another and encourage new friendships.
This is such a hit with everyone, 'Well Done' sixth form!
