Student Share Their School Trip Adventures

09.07.2026

One of our young people from Dunbroch School has written about their recent adventures, including visits to Woburn Safari Park and Teco Café, and trying archery.

Woburn Safari Park

Last week at Woburn Safari Park, we had an amazing time seeing lots of animals!

We got really close to lemurs, they were so cute! Then we saw the sea lions, but they weren’t feeling well, which was a bit gross they did a big runny poo. Then a bull like animal look us in the eyes as he peed on the floor. The meerkats were super cute, standing up on their back legs like tiny guards. The bears were tiny, cute and looked like they wanted a cuddle.

But the monkeys were very cheeky! They climbed all over other peoples cars. And the final disaster? The milkshake was awful, it was just watery and warm, not thick and creamy like it should be. Still, it was a fun day full of surprises!

I really enjoyed the day and had nice cosy sleep on the way back!

Tesco Café

To make up for the watershakes at Woburn we went to Tesco café and got some actual delicious chocolatey milkshakes! They were delicious, but very cold!!

We have lots of fun playing Cards! We played Go Fish! And 'C' kept winding me up and baiting me so I didn’t know which card to pick!!! We then played chase the maid and of course 'R' lost!! We had to buy jam doughnuts for 'CL' but that made her smile! Then returned back to site although the car ride was abit of a squish!

Archery

As much as I DISLIKE archery, I wanted to still try which is exactly what I did! I defo was better than 'C' and 'K'. I managed to hit the board basically every single time. I did NOT like wearing the gloves though because that’s gross! They have already been filled with skin particles!!! Overall I did have fun but was struggling with the heat but then got treated to a nice sushi meal deal!!!
