A Unique Outdoor Living Experience
One of Ivy Cottage’s most special features is its large, nurturing outdoor space, where residents can enjoy nature and take part in hands-on activities that promote wellbeing and independence.
The garden includes:
- A growing orchard with apple and damson trees
- A herb garden and vegetable allotment, encouraging healthy living and skill development
- Seven chickens, where residents take part in collecting fresh eggs daily
- Solar panels, supporting an environmentally conscious and sustainable home

These features provide valuable opportunities for learning, responsibility, and connection with the natural environment.
