The Longitude Explorer Prize is a scheme run by innovation foundation, Nesta and supported by technology company, IBM. The scheme has been set-up to challenge young people to come up with ideas that use the Internet of Things (IoT), devices connected via the internet to improve the well-being and health issues of people in the UK.

Earlier this month Cambian Pengwern College’s Young Enterprise Team ‘Pengwern Planters’ received the fantastic news that they had won ‘Team of the Year 2017’ at the All Wales Finals in Cardiff and then found out they had won the UK Team Presentation Award, which was going to be presented to them at the British Film Institute in London.
